ONTEC PARTNERS WITH MICROSOFT AND THE GIFT OF THE GIVERS FOR THE PROVISION OF SMART WATER METERS IN WESTERN CAPE HOSPITALS

Cape Town, South Africa — 21 September, 2018 – Ontec Systems (Pty) Ltd, a leader in smart metering technology, has recently announced that they have partnered with the Gift of the Givers NGO to install their GaugeIT smart water solution in hospitals across the Western Cape Province. This project was made possible through the generous funding of Microsoft, and was formally announced during a recent media gathering in Cape Town.

With Ontec’s smart water solution, hospital facility managers will receive full data visualisation, analytics, monitoring, notifications and alerts on a central view. Facility managers will also be empowered with near-real time water consumption information in order to support proactive management of water consumption usage and thus contribute towards the country’s overall water conservation objectives.
